Cloudy mornings in the desert are beautiful—but today it’s already 80° at 6:18am. More than the weather, I’m reflecting on how easy it is to build identity around what we do. But God calls us to root who we are in Him—not in titles, roles, or platforms.
Renew your mind. Don’t brace for lack. Expect His goodness. Set your mind on things above—His mercy, His grace, His presence. He will show up.
The other day, I realized I was stressing myself out doing things God never asked me to do. He said “record the podcast,” and I added 10 extra tasks. Sometimes it’s not what we do, but how we do it. Rest matters. Focus matters. Let God be God.
“Find love in the little things.” Healing doesn’t always come in thunder or miracles. Sometimes it’s in kindness with no agenda. No hooks. Just love. That’s where change begins.
